I have had the pleasure to work with Paul of Paul's Fine Furniture Restoration over the last several months. Paul has the ability to repair and restore all types of damage to wood furniture. He is also able to repair rips and scuffs in leather furniture to a new appearance. We own a Pool Table and Barstool retail business that has a variety of wood species and stain colors that can become damaged through shipping or just sitting on the display floor. Paul has in each instance been able to repair the damage to a level that is undetectable.

I contacted 2 refinishers before I found Paul to repair my antique dresser. Several of the design elements were broken and needed to be remade, and one of the first 2 people I talked to said he couldn't do it and the second gave me a very high estimate. Paul came out, gave me a reasonable estimate, and did a beautiful job making the new parts and finished them to match the rest of the dresser. I would recommend Paul to anyone needing restoration or refinishing.

After moving into an older "fixer-upper" home, I had many woodworking projects that I wanted to complete. However, the first big one was refinishing our front doors. The previous owners had dogs that had scratched very deep grooves into the front door, and after several years, our own dogs succeeded in adding many more. In addition, the finish was weathered and worn from the extreme climate we live in. I was actually embarrassed when people came over.

Paul took our door (which also has a beautiful leaded glass inset) and brought it back better than I could have ever had hoped or imagined. There is absolutely no indication that the door was ever in the shape it was in. It's been almost a year now, and every time I come home, it's one of the first things I notice. It's absolutely beautiful.

Since then, I have had Paul refinish a family hutch and a desk. He has also made my little dog beautiful, custom "stairs" (to match our mahogany four-poster bed) so that she can easily access our bed at night (and that has made her very, very happy).

I highly recommend Paul for any sort of woodworking and finishing. Not only does he have very capable hands, but he's also a pleasure to work with.

Our very gorgeous Baldwin Grand arrived around noon today. It is finally in its permanent home - and we're absolutely thrilled with the exquisite refinishing job you did on it!

The finished results of the piano are really outstanding, and we can hardly believe it's the same piano, even though it wasn't in horrible shape to begin with. It just goes to show how the wonderful "bones" (of a beautifully made instrument) can be brought out, with the touch of the right refinisher.

Thank you, so much, for taking on this project for us and for delivering such fabulous results to us. Definitely, you're our guy now, when it comes to important furniture restoration. (I still have you in mind for our antique Chickering, when finances permit.)

What a delight, at long-last I have found a furniture refinisher who knows what he’s doing and genuinely takes pride in his work! Paul did a beautiful job of repairing, re-working and refinishing a old, treasured chest of drawers for me. Not only was Paul a pleasure to work with but, he actually did what he said he was going to do, when he said he’d do it. A virtue you don’t very often see anymore.

As soon as we arrived home with the table and chairs, we were even more pleased that when we picked them up. Paul--I just have to tell you how utterly gorgeous you've made my piano. I don't think I've ever seen it looking this wonderful. I didn't reply to the e-mail you sent with pictures, because my crummy computer couldn't open the pix. I have a room just for the piano--it's that gorgeous now.
